This pattern is written using standard crochet abbreviations. The skills required are crocheting flat and in the round, sc, dc, and bobble stitch. Gauge is not important for this project.

After reading some of the project notes, I edited this pattern to include the following:
Note: The increases and decreases are done at the beginning and end of the odd rows (sc, ch 1, etc). In rows in which there are no increases, the first sc goes into the chain space. By doing an sc and ch 1 in the dc at the beginning and then crocheting in the chain space (and repeating the opposite at the end), you are preparing the next row to have an extra bobble at each end. You will have 8 bobbles at the narrowest points and 14 at the widest.
