“THIS BOLERO (named for a vintage 1920s hairstyle) is knitted with a lovely sequinned yarn, perfect over a party dress or bridal gown,” says designer Denise Samson. “The pattern, decorative in itself, makes natural waves at the bottom edge and front panels. You won’t need to add an extra edging or closing at the front.” Denise has used a Danish sequin yarn for her design; this is difficult to find in the UK, so we have suggested an alternative.
