Blast away your enemies and blow away your friends with your knitting skills, with this bottom up, knit in the round bomb. If you have any stashed skeins of smooth worsted weight yarn, this is the perfect excuse to use it.

Pattern requires the following skills: knitting in the round on DPNs, increasing, decreasing.

Yarn
2 contrasting colors of a smooth worsted weight yarn; 100yds for MC (main body) and 20yds for CC (top of bomb).

Used in: Ella Rae ‘Classic Heathers’ (100% wool; 219yds/200m per 3.53oz/100g skein)

MC: col 97; 1 skein

CC: col 123; 1 skein

Needles
Set of five 4.5mm/U.S. size 7 DPNs or needle to obtain gauge.

Notions
Yarn needle.
Stitch marker to mark beginning of the round.
Stuffing.
10” of twine for the bomb’s wick.

Gauge
20 sts = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch in the round using 4.5mm/U.S. size 7 DPNs, before stuffing.

Finished Measurements
Approximately 7” (18cm) in height and 19” (48cm) in circumference at widest part, after stuffing.
