This is the first of my candy patterns, designed with a fingering weight yarn in a variegated and solid Wollmeise 100% It is a small shawl knit with shoulder seams with increases hidden in the cables going down the corners. It adds just a hint of color to any outfit and because of its shape, stays put nicely on your shoulders.
Finished dimensions after washing and blocking: Approximately 26“/67 cm

Skill Level: beginner/intermediate

Yarn: One or more skeins of variegated fingering weight yarn, I used 1 skein 615.0 yards (562.4m) of Wollmeise 100% in the color way Pfauenauge and another in blue.

Needles: US 4/3.5 mm

Notions: 8 stitch markers, cable needle, darning needle to weave in the ends.

Gauge: 20 sts per 4”/10 cm after blocking in garter stitch, although gauge is not important, your final dimensions and yardage requirements may vary if your gauge is different.
