On the lookout for a pattern that would work well with multicolored sock yarn, a slip stitch pattern came into my mind. With this pattern single colors are emphasized by slip stitches on a background of reverse stockinette.

Changes in the 2nd version of the pattern:

• The bonbon pattern has been made more prominent and is used only on the front of the sock.
• The heel flap has been replaced with a short-row heel.
• An option for knitting the sock cuff-down has been added.

Sizes: S – 57 stitches, M – 66st, L – 75st

Yarn: 50 – 100g sock yarn (yardage ca. 440 yards/100g 400m/100g)

The pattern is written for double pointed needles, but easily adapted to other techniques.

Knit the socks only if you like purling.

Auf der Suche nach einem Muster für mehrfarbige Sockengarne ist die Idee für ein Hebemaschenmuster entstanden. Das Muster betont einzelne Farben auf einem Hintergrund linker Maschen.

Größen: S – 57 Maschen, M – 66M, L – 75M

Garn: 50 – 100g Sockengarn (Lauflänge ca 400m/100g)

Die Anleitung ist für ein Nadelspiel geschrieben, aber auch auf andere Techniken gut anwendbar.
