“Bonne chance”, French for good luck, this scarf pattern pairs so neatly with odds & ends of yarns, the end results seem effortlessly lovely. This easy-to-memorize lace pattern works beautifully with a wide variety of yarns; knit it up with a special one-of-a-kind luxury skein, or put bits from your stash to good use.
Finished size: Varies according to yarn & needles. Scarf begins with 1 stitch and increases, it can be made to any size.
Yarn & Needles: Any, try fingering weight on size 6-8 needles, or worsted on size 10-11 needles. This pattern is ideal for showcasing a special skein or using remainders. Use a needle several sizes larger than what is recommended on your yarn’s label. Scarf shown in Kitchen Sink Dyeworks Merino Fine.
Gauge: Throw it out the window for this scarf! Lace pattern will stretch significantly after blocking.
