Summary Baby bonnet starting from a lace medallion. Knitted picot edging. Two different patterns are given for the sides of the bonnet.

Sizes 3-6 mos (12-3/4” around face), 7-9 mos (14”), 18 mos (15-1/4”). The smallest is obtained by doing one less repeat in the medallion. 18 mos is obtained by using larger needles.

Gauge 27 stitches X 48 rows are 4” (10cm) in stockinette with US2 or 3 needles, 24 stitches X 44 rows with US3 or 4 needles.
