Bonnie Prince Charlie was inspired by a lovely King Charles Spaniel of the same name who was very loved by his owner.

By using a ‘loopy’ stitch you get a fabulous fluffy look.

He uses 35m of the cream yarn and 56m of the brown. He can be knitted in any sport weight or dk yarn.

Just add toy filling and two 6mm black beads for his eyes.

I also used some pipe cleaners (chenille sticks) in his limbs to make him more pose able.

He measures 11cm tall and 13cm long (excluding his tail).
