Bonnie Sue is a new doll design. She stands about 11 inches tall and her head is proportional to her body. The pattern includes instructions for the doll and her first outfit! She’s wearing a Flowered Summer hat which sits atop her curly hair, smocked dress, bloomers and shoes with ruffled socks!
The size of Bonnie Sue will vary depending on the type of yarn and hook size used. I used a a worsted weight yarn and a 3.5mm/E hook for the doll. All of her clothes were done in worsted weight yarn also!
To make the Bonnie Sue Doll, you will need any worsted weight yarn, Fiber-fil, stitch markers, 15mm safety eyes and a small button for her dress.
You can use any color yarn you want for her dress, shoes and hat! And her skin tone can be anything you like too! Just play and have fun making her… The possibilities are endless!
Any of the Marci Doll outfits will fit Bonnie Sue, although the shoes won’t (Bonnie Sue has larger feet)
