This hat was inspired by the song ‘Bonny Swan’ by singer/harp player Loreena McKennit.
The song is about a young girl who drowns because of her sister’s jealousy.
She turn into a ‘swan’ and than a harp player turns her into a harp. He brings the harp to the court of the king, there the harp begins to play and sing by itself and the truth is revealed.

Bonny Swan is a hat with 6 beautiful delicate swans knitted in the round.
This is a one size hat fit for circumference app. 56 cm.
If you want to knit a bigger or smaller version just use bigger or smaller needles. (I like a quite thightly fit)
Bonny Swan is knitted with Jamieson & Smith Heritage, you could also use the Jamieson & Smith 2-ply.
You need 3 skeins of yarn, 2 skeins (just over) main colour and 1 contrasting colour.
