Happy Halloween!

This is the Boo-Tastic Treat Bag, and it’s ready to go for your Halloween candy excursion! This bag is the perfect size for your little monsters to collect all the candy their hearts desire on the “most spookiest” day around!

The bag measures 4” depth (front to back) x 11.5”  length (top to bottom) x 11.5” width (side to side). And uses about 513 yards of worsted (weight 4) yarn. That’s around 200 yards of the main colors (black and purple on the sample bag) and then less than 20 yards for each on of the other colors. This makes it great as a quick stash buster!

For the sample, I used Big Twist Value yarn, which is exclusive to JoAnn’s Fabric Store, BUT there are tons of weight 4 yarns that will work for this project. A few substitutes would be Caron One Pound, Lion Brand Pound of Love, Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, etc. I would suggest using an acrylic or superwash for this bag, as they are less likely to stretch or felt over time.
