The Boomerang Shawl is my latest shawl design. It is constructed from the top down, starting with a long chain, and is written for one size only using the amazing Made In America Florafil Worsted yarn (97% cotton, 3% nylon; 3.5 ounces/100 grams, approximately 200 yards/183 meters; color Chocolate Lily, 2 skeins).

It is rated easy, and uses single and double crochet stitches.

The shape is a bit unusual - it is really a giant L shape. Though I call it a shawl, it’s really a giant wrap that you’d wear more like a scarf than a shawl.

Many thanks to my testers, Tajmacaw, mmcrochet, grayhare and sunmoonstars75! And to my tech editor, the amazing Anne McFarland annewithyarn@gmail.com.
