I love socks, but never finished a pair because of the heel: don’t like how any of them look..not the flap, not the gusset, not the after thought, nope don’t like them. I finally decided, after yet another failure to like the sock heel, to stitch and bitch and rip until I had a sock I loved. After 3 days, I had it. This starts at the toe and goes to the cuff….all one piece, no yarn to cut, no yarn to add. It is worked in spiral rounds. It is not turned, even for the heel. It has a boomerang shape, hence the name. Once past the heel part, you can do any leg, cuff part you like. You need to know how to do a linked double crochet, chain, and single crochet.
