This is a pattern for a pair of Boot Strap Socks. The socks come with a chart to make small to large sizes depending on your foot size. They are knitting using 4ply sock wool (I’ve used Beaker Button Bountiful 4ply in the example). They are toe up socks knitted on 4 double pointed needles.

This pattern would be suitable for someone with knitting experience.

Tension: 5cm x 5cm square = 14sts x 16 rows in stocking stitch knitted in the round. Materials: 100g Beaker Button Bountiful 4ply, set of 3mm double pointed needles, small stitch holder or safety pin, yarn needle for sewing in ends, 2 brass rings 2cm across. You will also need a blunt needle.

All of my patterns come with Dorset button instructions so you can learn this fabulous traditional craft with a modern twist.
