The charts for Bordeaux are mis-numbered in the book in that odd numbers should be on the left and even numbers on the right. The pattern begins with Row 1, a WS row. Future editions of the book will reflect this change and a corrected chart will soon be available at www.wiley.com/go/knittinginthesun.

It has also been pointed out to me that in order for the second half of the stole to be a mirror image, the second half should have ‘yo k2tog’ in place of the ‘ssk yo’ to create an invisible graft.

This stole is perfect for keeping off the chill of an evening breeze or overzealous air conditioning. Knitted in a laceweight merino/silk mix it is easy to carry around with you for when you need it. Named for the beautiful ancient harbor only minutes from my home in Guernsey.
The stole is knitted in two halves and then grafted in the centre.

Colourway used for the sample - Manzanita
