The Bordeaux Beret Knitting Pattern will allow you to create a slouchy super chunky beret with a pom-pom on top.

DESCRIPTION

This oversized chunky beret is an easy project, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create a beret with a fisherman’s rib stitch pattern, that is knit flat and then seamed.

This beret will be super chunky and cozy to wear in the fall/winter.

Yarn –

We Are Knitters – The Wool (200g/87 yds/80m) in Bordeaux x 1 ball.

Needles –

12mm (US 17) knitting needles.
15mm (US 19) knitting needles.

• SKILLS

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, P1B (purl one below), working in 1×1 ribbing, plus shaping through increases and decreases.

• SIZING

To fit a regular-sized head (around 22 inches).
Diameter – 10 inches/26 cms.
