Boscage’s length and width lend it great versatility. Wound twice around the head and neck, it drapes in a lovely hood; another twist cinches it closer for greater warmth. Boscage can also be worn looped around the neck for a more sculptural, casual look.

Boscage uses a tubular caston and bindoff for a professionallyfinished appearance. Links to resources and written instructions for tubular bindoff in the round are included in the pattern.

There’s been an update to the pattern on 2/4/10--my test knitter’s feedback indicates that the cowl can be made from 420 yards of yarn instead of 500 as originally stipulated. Of course, if you would like to make the cowl larger, you’ll need more yarn. This is the only change. Please re-download if you would like an updated copy!
