I knit this hat while volunteering at Bosque Villiage, an organic farm near Patzcuaro, Mexico. I was inspired by the pine forest and the beautiful starry nights. I used natural undyed wool to promote the ecological values of the farm. It’s a beautiful lifestyle and an important alternative to mindless consumerism that aligns well with the ethos of handknitting.

All procedes from the sale of this pattern are a donation to Bosque Village to support their efforts to create a sustainable community.
