This design was inspired by the simplicity of a wooden pavilion roof at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Knit from brim to crown, this reversible ribbed beanie features pronounced slipped stitch columns that feed into the center top of the hat. The reverse side displays a smooth 3x1 rib, allowing another option for wear. Have fun pairing two yarns together to achieve interesting colorful and textural effects. I hope you enjoy knitting and playing with the different versions of this hat as much as I did!
