The Botanic Heroics scarf is a chevron pattern knitted in two color brioche. It’s a nice medium weight scarf that will keep you warm without a lot of bulk. After blocking, it measures 60” x 6” (152 x 15.25 cm), but its length can easily be adjusted.

It requires two skeins of fingering weight yarn (~450 yds each). To make the scarf pictured, that includes:

1 skein of Araucania Huasco in Color 31
1 skein of Cascade Heritage Silk in Snow White.

The pattern includes written instructions as well as a chart. Photo illustrations of some of the stitches are also available on my blog, JerseyPurls.blogspot.com.

UPDATE 11/2/14:
If you purchased the pattern before 11/2/14, be aware that there is an error in the directions for joining color B. After row 1, the pattern says to join color B where row 1 ended. Instead, color B should be joined where row 1 began and row 2 should be worked across the same side. The work is then turned before working row 3.
