These socks are named after Boudica, the rebel Celtic queen who fought the Roman Empire after they refused her daughters’ claim to the throne of the Iceni people. A Celtic knotwork-inspired braid runs up each side from the toe to the upper cuff, where travelling stitches and a horizontal braid hide calf increases, finished off by a rolled edge.
