A boy’s coat, knitted in teazle wool, which is then brushed to give a fur-like nap to the fabric. The coat is knitted from the bottom up in pieces, with the sleeves knitted from the top down and then seamed. The collar is knitted separately and sewn on.

Calls for 6oz of teazle wool, 4oz of blue, 2oz of white, a pair of no.8 knitting needles, 6 pearl buttons and a teazle brush. From the gauge the wool appears to be around sport-weight.
