Well darn it a slight stitch count mistake was brought to my attention, so be sure if you have a version of the pattern prior to 12/5/2016 that you get the update.

Please read the notes and don’t hesitate to ask me questions…happy knitting! BBK

This shawl has been such an amazing labor of love and thank you to Jimmy Beans Wool and Madeline Tosh for such an inspiring color in the Toshstrology series color for Gemini. It is so springy and light and yummy! Who doesn’t like sherbet?

****NOTE that I used almost ALL of 1 hank, so consider getting a second hank and JBW will return it if it’s not wound, so here’s JBW’s policy. I encourage you to always check on the returns policy of the shop you use.****

I found a lovely stitch pattern in The Haapsalu Shawl book and knew I had to find a way to use it, so voila, Boysenberry Sherbet.

I added the garter stitch set up sections to show off this beautiful stitch pattern and was determined to use only 1 hank of Pashmina, BUT please be aware that I had a teeny tiny ball left, so make sure you have enough yarn. You might also opt to make the eyelet sections in another color to stretch the main color.

Any sport weight yarn will work and I also used larger needles to stretch the yardage and that created such a beautiful drape I am still in awe.

There are written instructions for the garter sections and a simple chart for the lace panels. I made sure that the side lace panels began on the same row as the center panel, so easy peasy!

Thanks for supporting BBK and enjoy!
