I’ve never met anyone who loves hand-knit cowls more than Rose Bradley. So it was a no brainer when I needed to decide what to design for her. The real question was how to make this cowl as unique as her, but still fit her simple, al- ways comfortable style. I tried cables, short rows, lace, and intricate pattern- work, but nothing seemed to fit. Finally, I asked her. Stripes and buttons she re- plied and that was it. I had overthought the whole process and ended up right back at my trusty buttons and stripes. This cowl is a representation of always being there - just perfect for Rose.
