Braemar
Summary: The cuff and leg are knit flat and seamed, while the heel and foot are knitted in the round on double pointed needles.
Yarn information: 200-300 g worsted weight wool yarn.
Sizing: All patterns in the book are written for calves measuring 15-17” at the widest point.
From the pattern description: “These unusual hose would be ideal for a Police Pipe band or Fire Company Pipe Band by changing the colour used for dicing. Another thought is to use a one of the colours in the recipient’s kilt. Can also be used for Hiking Socks. Difficulty rating: Experienced.”
