Braided clutch
This crochet clutch works up pretty easy and fast! It’s worked in one-piece without sewing at all! It’s the perfect size for date night or lunch with friends! If you got excited to crochet your own bag, watch this video.
Materials, tools:
Any yarn (I used polyester cord, 5 mm,~160 m (6 299 in)
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 5 mm)
Button clasp snap
2 metal swivel bag clips
Scissors, lighter, thread, needle
Optional: stitch markers
Techniques needed to make a purse - basic stitches (US terms):
Slip stitch (sl st)
Half Double crochet (hdc)
Size of the finished item:
The size of finished bag depends on the yarn and hook size. My bag:
18 cm (7 in) - height x 29 cm (11.4 in) - length
Gauge: 10 stitches and 6 rows in 4 inches
