For some reason the Olive colored yarn I used from Joann Fabrics called Big Twist Comfy is not in Ravelry’s database. I loved using this yarn as it gave good definition to the stitches. The other yarn I used was Yarn Bee Hue IQ and it worked out nice also.

Gauge is not too important with this pattern using size 9 needles and a #5 yarn makes this headband approx. 4” wide after blocking and you make it however long you want to fit around your head. I’ve knitted mine to be about 18” long and them seamed it after blocking. This seems to fit most adult heads.
