The inspiration for this design has come from a series of stunning books called Brambly Hedge and specifically the autumn story.

The design is knitted from the bottom up so you can make the shawl as generous a size as you like.

The project takes less than 400 grams of DK yarn, so can be a good stash buster.

The design comprises of stockinette, garter and a knot stitch, which becomes very memorable and relaxing to knit once the pattern is memorised.
