Branching is a term used for owls that are ready to practice flying, but not ready to be independent yet. They fly from branch to branch in their own tree, but always come back to their nest. This cardigan is made for children that are at the same stage in life as these owls. Too old to be spoon-fed and diapered, but not quite adults! If you need an owl cardigan for your younger baby, please check out Owl Always Love You .

This cardigan is knit from the bottom up, both sleeves and lower body, then joined together to form the yoke. The only seams are in the underarm area.
