Center portion of pattern consists of 12 chain stitches followed by 24 single crochet stitches. Round 2 consists of treble crochet stitches. Double crochet and chain stitches make up the next 4 rows. Eight flower motifs are added at this point. Refer to color key on pattern. Floral motifs resemble pansies. Floral motifs consist of 6 chain stitches that form a circle followed by 3 double crochet stitches with 4 chain stitches in between. Ten double crochet stitches are in between 3-chain 4 spaces and ten triple triple crochet stitches are in the remaining 2 chain 4 spaces. 3-single crochet stitches make up the border.

According to the pattern, about 100 yards of thread in all, a few yards of each color: white, dark green, red, blue, sky blue, yellow, pink, dark pink and orange.
