You will want to make both of these airy, lightweight hats! They are done in worsted weight yarn (size 4) with a size J - 6mm crochet hook. They are quick projects and suitable for an advanced beginner.

The hats are crocheted in the round. Stitches used are chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. You will need one skein of worsted/aran weight yarn (size 4), a size J - 6mm crochet hook and a yarn needle for weaving in the ends when you are finished. I like to use Caron Simply Soft yarn for this project.

The beanie hat measures about 7 1/2” from the top to the edge. The slouchy beret measures about 9 1/2” from the top to the edge. The hat fits a head circumference between 19” and 23”.
