Brenna is a diminutive of Brenda that most likely originates in Old Norse and means “sword”. The lace design represents that meaning.

Warm, cozy, quick and easy with only 78 yards required! This is a fun project that can be completed in one day. For those of you who are spinners, this pattern would also be perfect for thick-n-thin and bulky singles.

Sample has been made with a single skein of Patons Classic Wool Bulky in the color Heath Heather.

Yarn:
Only one skein of Patons Classic Wool Bulky or any bulky weight yarn at least 78 yards

Needle:
US size 11 (8 mm) and a set of DPN size US 11 (8mm)

Blocked Size:
7 1/2” wide (19.05cm) x 23” long (58.42cm)
