This is a pattern for a tunic or cardigan knitted on a standard gauge knitting machine. It’s knitted sideways in tuck stitch, with 3 strands of 2/28 yarn. The tunic is created by seaming the ends to form a back seam.

The rolled neck on the tunic becomes a shawl neck or draped front of the cardigan. The cardigan can have various hemmed edges at the front.

Size is adjusted by changing the number of stitches cast on (length) and rows knitted (width). Or by adjusting tension!
