While the color work in this pattern appears complex it is an excellent first color work project as it uses a simple technique that, for most of the pattern, allows the knitter to only be knitting with one color at a time, and which produces a warm and thick fabric. Yardage above is total, which should be evenly divided between two different colors of worsted or aran weight yarn.
