Brielle Lace Cape

This pattern makes a lacy cape that is worked top down. The cape can be fastened with a ribbon tie or a small button. Pair it with any outfit for a romantic flair.
This is a very versatile design that can be worn in a number of ways
- Fastened in front
- Fastened on the shoulder
- Fastened behind
- Worn as a scarf
- Worn as a beach cover up on the hips
There are 6 sizes available, with varying neckline circumference, bottom circumference and length. See photos for more detailed sizing information and estimated yardage.
Materials needed:
- Light Fingering / Fingering (#1) yarn I used a cotton yarn that has 15wpi with a yardage of 227 yds / 208 m per 50g
- Crochet hook to meet gauge I used a 3mm hook
- stitch markers
- measuring tape
- needle
- button (optional)
Special stitches
- V-stitch: (dc, ch1, dc) into the same st
- Bobble st (tutorial): 3dc bobble into the same st
- ch3 picot: ch3, sl st into the back bump/ridge of the 1st ch you made
