I developed this beanie while playing with mitered squares and looking for new ways to use my lil’ bits. Mitered squares are versatile and a great way to use up scraps! You can easily knit this beanie in a weekend. Happy knitting!

Yarn: 125 – 250 yards Worsted weight wool. Example used Knit Picks Swish Brights. Each Mitered Square uses 5 to 7 grams of yarn.
Needles: US 7 double points and 16 inch circular; or size needed to get gauge.
Gauge: 18 sts / 36 rows in Garter Stitch and 20 sts / 28 rows in Stockinette Stitch - over 4 inches

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL); 18 (20, 21, 23, 25) inches. The mitered square brim in very stretchy. You will get most of your size difference in the length of the body.
