Bright Stripes Halter Top with Knotted Ties

This adorable top is perfect for all seasons – great alone as a halter or layered over jeans with a peasant top underneath. Made using your favorite worsted weight yarn, with beginner stitches, simple shaping and easy to follow instructions. The bright colors are sure to be a hit!

Instructions are written for size 2 with changes for sizes 4, 6 and 8 in parentheses.

Yarn

You may use the worsted weight yarn of your choice. I used Peaches N Crème 100% Cotton yarn. One skein of each color will be enough, with most widely available yarns. If you buy your yarn in balls, you’ll need 2 (3, 4, 5) balls of each color, except Red and Light Blue – you shouldn’t need more than 3 balls of red, even for the largest size, and you should only use 1 ball of Light Blue.

Colors Used:

Peacock Blue, Hot Pink, Orange, Apple Green, Baby Blue, Red
