Brighton Beach is a shallow shawlette with an edging of airy lace, resembling shells or foaming waves. It is worked top-down, casting on all the stitches needed for the width of the shawlette. As the work progresses, stitches are decreased on either side, shaping the shawlette and making it go faster for every row!

Using only one skein of a luxurious blend of alpaca, silk, and cashmere, it will be a joy to knit and wear on chilly summer evenings.
