This wide-brimmed hat is crocheted with a small hook to produce a dense fabric. Mold the brim down for a comfortable gardening hat, or curl up the side edges for a Western look. You can make a taller hat by working the even single crochet rounds for longer than 3”, and you can also make a shorter brim by stopping when brim reaches desired width. Size is determined by hook size.
