When worked on larger needles, brioche stitch variations yield an open, airy fabric that is architectural rather than motif based. Brioche Architecture combines three of these stitches in a ¾ circle shawl that wraps easily around the shoulders. The brioche stitches are a great match for a haloed or variegated yarn, which can sometimes obscure complicated lace motifs.

Finished size can be adjusted by adding or removing repeats.
