A simple intro to two color brioche stitch hat!

There are no special cast-ons or bind-offs or increases or decreases.

You start with a simple rib, move into the two color brioche section and go back to a single strand for the crown shaping.

The pattern includes basic brioche directions and a list of places to look for more help if you need it explained in a different way.

It can be made as slouchy or close fitting as you like - you simply knit more, or less, of the brioche.

I case you would like a good video tutorial head on over to The Knitting Expat Podcast group where Mina has a thread for a really good one.

As an extra note: In the original pattern I indicated that the Brioche Knitters group was run by Nancy Marchand, I was wrong! She is a member but will not be there to answer questions should you be looking for that. I’m sorry for any inconvenience and misunderstanding.
