I’ve been fascinated by coloured brioche knitting and thought that I should be able to even knit patterns.
After lots of frustration I found a way ;-))

As you can see on the pictures the pattern is ‘normal’ on one side and inverted on the other.
And because it is brioche knitting nothing curls and the fabric is wonderfully soft.

I find brioche pattern knitting fun, even interesting (I’m easily bored ;-)) and amazingly fast (but perhaps I only became a much faster knitter with more practice ;-)))

Note: to make it easy for you to follow the pattern, too, I put three instructions to the same pattern into my PDF file:

• a text instruction, just as usual
• a text instruction with separators where you can put your stitch markers and
• a chart (I always prefer charts ;-))

Hier die Übersetzung der wichtigsten Abkürzungen, damit Du die Anleitung dennoch nutzen kannst:

k = rechte Masche (knit)
p = linke Masche (purl)
dk = tiefeingestochene rechte Masche, d.h., dass die Masche in die Masche der Vorreihe gearbeitet wird (deep knit)
dp = tiefeingestochene linke Masche, d.h., dass die Masche in die Masche der Vorreihe gearbeitet wird (deep purl)
