Yarn: Worsted weight, multiplied yarn. (Note: If you use a multiplied yarn, you can form crosses without double wrapping pegs. However, if you use a non-stretchy yarn, you will need to double wrap every sixth peg on one rake, and divide the extra yarn between the pegs before adding crosses.)
