Brioche knitting is a simple multicolor technique where you can mix your favourite colors and yarns - to be unique and playful!

Two-color brioche is reversible and results in like two different jumpers - You can wear both sides.
Each counted row is worked twice, the first or the main color is worked around once (I have black) and then remember that you do not turn, just slide the stitches and doing the same row – worked again using the contrast color (I used white) in other words - second color. When you put down your knitting and forget which color you just used and which color to use next, look at the color of the yo (yarn over) in the round just worked. That is the last color you used.

I suggest that you practice this pattern first doing a swatch.
Surely follow gauge. I’m a tight tension knitter

CARDIGAN SIZE: S – M – L
YARN: MC yarn: Drops Baby merino black (50 grams / 1.76 ounces; 191 yards /175 meters).
CC color: Drops Baby merino white (50 grams / 1.76 ounces; 191 yards /175 meters).
YARN CONSUMPTION – MC color: 200 – 250 – 300 gr. and CC color: 150g – 200g – 200gr.
NEEDLES: 80cm/ 32“ circular needle and DPN’s US 4/ 3mm; and US 2 / 2.75mm for edges and biginning and sleeves.
If you are loose knitter – I recommend at first part (biginning and bind off) 2.5mm/US 1.5 circular needles.
OTHER TOOLS: Tapestry needle (in ends); 8 stitch/place markers (if you need) for marking beginning of the pattern repeatings; cable needle (for decreasing stitch (br4stdec)); stitch holder, buttons: 7 pieces in all sizes or voluntarily

GAUGE:
Brioche Stitch- 24 sts x 28 rows = 4“ 10cm.
Note: MC and CC round together count as one brioche round.

Garter ST – 24 sts x 26 ribs.
Note: alpaca yarn isn’t so stretchy than merino yarn! Consider that
