Yarn: worsted weight yarn, size 4; about 3.4 oz/96 g, 167 y/153 m for Adult size. I used 1 skein of Bayview Fiber Arts yarn Wharf Worsted base in Grasslands colorway.
Needles: double pointed needles or a circular needle size 3.75 mm/ US5 and size 4.5 mm / US7 or size to obtain gauge
Other materials: stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 10 st and 18 rows = 2” in garter stitch on larger size needle
