This mosaic cowl is easily knit in two contrasting colours, but you only knit with one colour per row.
The pattern is achieved by knit, purl and slipped stitches - its the “easy option” when it comes to knitting colour work, but without the hassle of carrying the yarn in the back.
Knit in the round, it is easily adjusted to size by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
Uses about 230m (250yds) of soft 100% Donegal tweed in contrasting colours.
Finished dimensions:
26” circumference
14” tall
