The color-blocked ribbing on this sporty little dress will work magic for your figure. I wanted a form-fitting dress so designed this with a suggested negative ease of 2” - 3”.

The dress is worked from the bottom up in pieces and seamed together. Seams add structure which is especially important for larger garments such as dresses. I used a wool, FibraNatura’s Sensational distributed by Universal Yarn for a forgiving fabric that won’t sag. But here’s a tip from my mother’s day - wear a cotton slip under knitted dresses to lessen the stretching when you sit.
