Bronnie fingerless mitts in two sizes and 3 styles. These mitts were originally designed for a teenager who wanted something a bit more funky with a splash of bright colour. Knitted with chunky/bulky merino yarn for quick and cosy results. Fingers free for play.

3 styles are; - stocking/stockinette stitch mitts, mitts with rib edging, and mitts with decorative edging.

Full line by line instructions in English, with British/American terms. Knitted on 2 needles and sewn up the side. Photos included with the instructions for the blanket stitch edging. All you will need to know is how to ----cast/bind on and cast/bind off, knit and purl (stocking/stockinette stitch and rib)---make 1 (pick up and make a stitch).

I have used 4 different shades of the wool for this selection of gloves. If you decide to make only one pair then you only need to buy one ball. If you want to add a decorative edge, then you will need to buy an extra contrasting ball.

Measurements;

Small/medium - circumference 16.5cm (6.5in) x length 12cm (4.75in).
Medium/large - circumference 19cm (7.5in) x length 12cm (4.75in).

Measure round your hand, just above where your thumb joins your hand,(but leaving your thumb out!)-choose the size nearest to your own hand.

Materials;

• 50g of merino in Purple, Pink or Teal blue Lang Yarns Merino 70 chunky, or any other colour. (Merino chunky/bulky yarn works best with this pattern as it seems to be extra stretchy and you want it to sit fairly tight on your hand. Other chunky/bulky yarns may be okay, but check your tension/gauge and be prepared for a slightly different feel to your mitts). For the decorative edge you will need another ball in a contrasting colour.

• 5.5mm (UK5 - USA9) and 6.5mm (UK3 – USA 10.5) knitting needles.

• A needle for sewing yarn.
