Brooke is one of the capital-W-Wonderful people who work at Skacel Knitting, the company that brings us Addi knitting needles and crochet hooks, and distributes a variety of excellent yarns, including SimpliCria. I first saw a version of this cowl on a visit to Maker’s Mercantile, Skacel’s retail outlet. When I got home, I emailed Brooke and asked if there was a pattern for it. As it happened, Brooke had made it herself using one of the Addi Express Knitting machines. Based on her general directions, this is a hand-knit version.

This pattern was written to show off all six colors of the SimpliCria palette; however, to make the size indicated, I used about 75% of each ball of yarn. A similarly sized cowl could be made using five balls, and using all of the yardage of each.
