Thick, warm, and soft as a Sunday afternoon in autumn, this blanket couldn’t be more appealing. Knit in eleven separate cable panels, then sewn up easily with a disappearing zipper-like stitch that forms an invisibly flat join between the panels, Brown Street Sunday is perfect for a long nap, a nice cozy read on the couch, or a lazy swing out in the hammock before it gets put away for winter.

This pattern is easily adjustable for varied sizes. Make fewer (or more panels) for a narrower or wider afghan, and/or change the number of 8-row panel repeats to alter the length.
